St Cross Symondians talent Ben Foster (pictured) and Neil Shelar, from Basingstoke & North Hants, shared an unbroken 153-run stand to guide Hampshire Under-15s to a seven-wicket victory over their Somerset counterparts at South Wilts.
Foster hit an unbeaten 80 and Shelar 77 not out as Hampshire chased down Somerset's 208 all out to top the ECB South-West Group table. It was their third straight win, with Will Kettle's spell of 3-20 particularly noteworthy.
Hampshire, who cross the Severn Bridge to play Cricket Wales at Newport on Monday, had previously beaten Gloucestershire and Cornwall. Shelar made 73 against Gloucestershire and Foster 60 in the Cornwall win.
