Five regular players were missing from a much changed Bashley side, which had Sam Thomson in an emergency opener’s role. He was one of only four batsmen who made double figures – Tom Jacques, with 18, was top scorer – as Bashley tumbled over in 37.3 overs.
Burridge polished off the target at break neck speed – Dan Hewitt (53) and left-hander Jamie Richards (36) hitting a six and 16 fours as 70 of the 98 runs required came in boundaries.
