Forty-six balls. That’s how long it took Bashley (Rydal) to complete a ten-wicket whitewash of Hythe & Dibden in a one-sided New Forest CA President’s Cup final at Fernhill.
Simon Morris blazed 55 not out off 28 balls as Bashley raced past Hythe’s 81-9 at breakneck speed.
Morris hit one six and eight fours, leaving opening partner James Underwood (14 not out) a virtual spectator.
Sean Read (4-25) did most of the damage with the ball, George Wilson taking 2-7. Only Zac Millar (16), Matt Young (17) and Ed Joseph made it into double figures for Hythe.
