Teenage Hampshire Academy left-hand opening batsman Ben Duggan has been named ECB Southern Premier League Young Cricketer of the Year on the back of his 761 Premier Division runs, which included four centuries (two against Burridge) and three scores of fifty or more. He is the 35th recipient of the John Millett Memorial Salver, which had its inception in 1981. Duggan, who helped Hampshire U17s win the ECB County Age Group Championships this summer, is pictured by Dave Vokes of LMI Photography receiving his award from former England captain Graham Gooch.
