Left-arm all-rounder Simon Woodruff cracked six maximums and 12 fours in an unbeaten 135 as Bournemouth piled up a massive 353-8 against Wimborne & Colehill at the Leaze. Bournemouth were headed for a big score after a bright start by Oli Shrubsole (left)(51) and James Robinson (38), with Luke Webb (29) chipping in before Woodruff arrived at the crease. The Dorset leftie tore into the Wimborne attack, while teenager Conor Smith (23*) showed a few party tricks of his own. Wimborne responded with 201-8, Smith taking 3-24 with his emerging left-arm spin. |
