Josh Finnie, pictured left, who played Southern Premier League Division 1 cricket for Bournemouth last summer, has been appointed to captain New Zealand in the upcoming ICC Under-19 World Cup in Bangladesh. The Otago spin all-rounder, who scored 506 runs and took 32 wickets fot the Chapel Gate outfit, will lead the young Black Caps in group matches against India, Ireland and Nepal. Hampshire Academy off-spinner Brad Taylor captains England in the tournament and will play alongside Ageas Bowl team-mate Mason Crane. Both England (v South Africa) and New Zealand play pre-tournament warm-up matches in Dubai. |
