Bournemouth leggie Jem Warner is celebrating a third five-wicket return of the winter season for East Sandringham, his adopted Australian sub-district grade club whom he has helped to joint top place in Melbourne's South East Longmuir Shield competition.
The Swanage-raised Durham University law graduate has been bowling 21-over plus spells in the Aussie heat, taking an initial 5-51 against West Bentleigh, which he has followed up with a 5-92 return against Mackie, 4-63 v Bentleigh ANA and last weekend 5-89 against Elwood. Warner has snapped up 23 wickets so far.
