Former South Wilts and Sarisbury Athletic left-hand all-rounder Ryan Burl made his maiden fifty for Zimbabwe in yesterday's ODI against Ireland in Stormont.
Batting with Zimbabwe wobbling at 160-7 in pursuit of Ireland's 242-9, he hit an unbeaten 53 as his team fell agonisingly five runs short at 237-9. It was Burl's 19th ODI appearance for Zimbabwe, for whom he has played one Test against South Africa in Port Elizabeth in December 2017.
