Josh Hill blasted a blistering century as Sarisbury Athletic defeated arch local rivals Burridge by 57 runs in the Southern Premier League Cup East group derby at Allotment Road.
Hill struck seven sixes and 12 fours in an unbeaten 112 made off 81 deliveries.
He helped Sarisbury total 240-6 off their 40 overs - 100 of which came off the last ten overs, with a succession of unstoppable straight hits back over the bowlers’ heads.
Left-hand opener Sam Floyd added 60, while Alec Damley-Jones (2-32) was Burridge’s best bowler.
Chris Sanders and Jordan Wright then set up reducing Burridge’s reply to tatters.
The opening bowlers both took two wickets as the Premier Division side lurched to 40-5.
Wright (5-024-2) accounted for opener Azi Chowdhury (5) and skipper Hilio De Abreu (4) while Sanders (8-5-11-2) dismissed Joe Collings-Wells (12) and James Hughes (6).
Dan Stancliffe led the fightback, hitting 12 fours in his 87 off 79 balls before he was superbly run out by Sam Hill, whose razon sharp fielding had previously accounted for Chris Blake.
Jack Paskins was 28 not out as Burridge were eventually all out for 183, former South Wilts off-spin all-rounder Rob Franklin taking 3-55, including Mo Abbas, trapped leg before reverse sweeping.
