Dave Steadman returns for Sway
Portsmouth & Southsea look to make it a perfect Southern Premier Division 3 ten out of ten when in-form Havant seconds visit St James’ Park.
P & S thrashed their local rivals by seven wickets in the opening round of matches on May 7, but with Havant, last season’s Hampshire League Division 1 champions, having won their last four matches, the unbeaten leaders can anticipate a far sterner test.
Having lost three times, second placed Langley Manor lag a sizeable 36 points behind. They visit a youthful South Wilts II at Bemerton, where they will come up against Division 3’s leading wicket takers James Brewer and Rob Pitman, with 19 victims each.
On the flip side, the Manor boast the second and third highest SPL3 run scorers in Jack Budd (446) and Conor Browne (378).
South Wilts, though, have a slight fitness worry about Canford School spinner Kit Blomfeld, who cracked his right wrist in a Hampshire Pathways match in midweek.
South Wilts II: Smith, Litchfield, Cranch, R Pittman, Whiting, Howgrave-Graham, Pittman, Green, Brewer, Partridge, Blomfield.
Sway, four points behind Langley Manor, welcome back last week’s absentees all-rounder Dave Steadman, plus seamers Toby Ramwell and Jon Waller, to make up a full strength side to face Gosport Borough at Jubilee Fields.
Gosport rattled up 325-4 at Trojans last week with Cricketer of the Week Jacob Harris hitting a career-best 158 not out. Spinner Jack Richards is out, while West Indies Denzel James remains on sentry duty in case of an invasion.
Sway: Tim Noble, Will Crossley, Greg Jones, Alex Hall, Dave Steadman, Hugh Barnard, Oscar Marshall, Jon Grasham, Toby Ramwell, Jon Waller.
Gosport Borough: L Harrop, G Kitchin, S Taylor, J Jayaraj, V Richards, J Harris, A Adams, C Pennicott, T Chicot, S Prathapasinghe, M Johnson.

Paultons, riddled with injuries, are expecting Australian Callum Barton to fire after a modest return of 183 runs in nine knocks so far. He’ll get a decent batting deck at Basingstoke & North Hants.
Paultons: Ennew, P Longland, Pike, Rogers, Collins, Barton, L Longland, Smith, Lamb, Denney.
Trojans are without opener Ed Boyd and influential all-rounder Rhaul Bhome for a significant basement battle with winless Purbrook at Stoneham Lane.  But Jamie Donaldson is back to take the new ball alongside the promising Tim Felstead..
Trojans: Agha, Harrington, Le Bas, Mahmood, Dean, Ahmed, Piero, Beely, Donaldson, Joshi, Felstead.
