Some of South Africa’s brightest teenage cricketing talent will be on parade at Basingstoke & North Hants’ May’s Bounty ground at noon on Tuesday (June 26).
The Hampshire EPP play a white ball 50-over match against Cape Town’s All Rounder Cricket Academy, who principally draw their players from Rondebosch Boys High and SACS, who have provided numerous Test and provincial players in the past.
The South African youngsters, who are managed by one-time Burridge all-rounder Roger Moult, arrive on Sunday morning and play their opening tour game at King’s College (Wimbledon) before playing at Basingstoke (Tuesday) and T20 matches at Burridge (Wednesday, 5pm) and Winchester College on Thursday tea-time. They then head off to games in the West Country and South Wales.
