CARBERRY HITS CARIBBEAN FIFTY IN HAMPSHIRE COMEBACK

Michael Carberry celebrated his Hampshire return after illness with a half-century in the two-day match against Nottinghamshire in Barbados.  He hit a most encouraging and welcome 58 as Hampshire posted 295-3 after Notts made 279-5. Jimmy Adams hit 86 not out and Lewis McManus an unbeaten 76. Notts were 121-3 at the close of play.
