Six Burridge batsmen bagged ducks in a monumental collapse which saw the defending ECB Southern Premier League champions lose eight wickets for only 23 runs against Bashley (Rydal).
Chasing a modest 166 a Botley Road, Burridge plunged from 97-2 to 120 all out, with South African Mat Goles [pictured] left high and dry on 72 not out, having opened the Burridge batting.
It was Burridge's second defeat in four games, Havant having tilted their crown with an unexpected 47-run win on the opening day of the season.
Goles, who topped the SPL batting charts with 822 runs last season, looked in no trouble at all striking eight fours and a six but saw all ten partners depart - Azim Chowdhury's exit at 97 triggering an astonishing collapse.
Left-armer James Trodd, working up pace, ripped through the Burridge middle and lower-order with a 4-35 return and was complimented by spinner Jacob Gordon (4-25).
The six Burridge batsmen who got ducks lasted a total of 43 balls between them.
Amid the batting carnage, Bashley (Rydal) bizarrely contrived to lose a third wicketkeeper in consecutive games to a finger injury - teen Alex Bourne following broken finger duo Patrick Lewis and Michael Porter (both injured in the previous week's Academy defeat) into A & E.
Fortunately, he only dislocated his finger and was able to field as the Burridge wickets tumbled.
