Twenty nine local clubs have entered the ECB Under-19 Club T20 competition, with the teams in seven groups of four – and Basingstoke & North Hants playing in Berkshire !
Cup holders Bournemouth face the prospect of two trips to the Isle of Wight as they are paired with Cowes-based Northwood, Shanklin and Ventnor.
Only four ECB Southern Premier Division clubs – Andover, Bashley (Rydal), New Milton, and St Cross Symondians – are entering teams.
Calmore Sports get the competition underway when they host Langley Manor and Totton & Eling in a triangular tournament at Loperwood Park on Monday, 10am.
