Bashley (Rydal) left-armer Brad Currie took two wickets and a catch to help Scotland beat Namibia by five wickets in their rain-delayed ICC World Cup opening match in Barbados.
He was due to have debuted against England in Tuesday's washed out match, but bagged 2-16 - the wickets of Jan Frylinck (dragged on) and later Reuben Trumpelmann - as Namibia posted 155-9. Scotland wobbled but won with nine balls of the match to spare.
Hampshire's Brad Wheal took three wickets, including left-hander JP Kotze, who played several games for Havant II and Fareham & Crofton when he was a teenager.
