Sarisbury Athletic face a crunch weekend with the Southern Premier League Cup visit of near neighbours Burridge coming ahead of Sunday’s National Village Cup second round tie at Bramshaw.
It’s an important league cup derby for Sarisbury, who lost their opening Premier/Division 1 East group match to St Cross Symondians II, whereas Burridge snatched a last gasp win over Portsmouth on Southsea seafront.
Teenage spin all-rounder Mo Abbas [left], who was released by the Academy at the end of last season, makes his debut for Burridge, whose ground is only 2.4 miles away (by the crow) from Allotment Road.
Burridge:   Joe Collings-Wells, Shu Chowdhury, Hilio De Abreu, Chris Blake, James Hughes, Daniel Stancliffe, Jack Paskins, Dan Damley Jones, Sullivan White, Mo Abbas, Alec Damley-Jones.
With last week’s match against St Cross Symondians II washed out, Havant have yet to get started in the league cup, but its all systems go for the visit to Alton, who lost their group opener by nine wickets to the Hampshire Academy.
Havant: Morgan, Harry Gadd, Hopson, Stone, Hindley, Whitfield, Bulled, Freddie Gadd, Jerry, Stares, Taw.
The other East group match features the St Cross Symondians-Sparsholt derby at the Green Jackets.
