Dorset Association of Cricket Officials are hosting both a Stage 1 and Stage 2 Umpires course, to be held at Wimborne CC in November.
Both courses are £30, but anyone taking Stage 1 has the option of free ECB ACO membership for one year and then gets a £20 discount on Stage 2. Both courses are one day only, from 9.30am to 4.30pm
Stage 1 (12th November) -This Stage One Umpire course is designed to give you an overview of the basic Laws of the game and how to apply them and introduce the principles of field craft and match management. Stage 2 (19th November) – This course is designed to build on Umpire Education Stage One, covering further Laws and exploring the concept of working as part of a team with a colleague and the scorers.
