DOUBLE BLOW FOR LEADERS LYMINGTON AT CHAMPION HOME

The ECB British Gas Southern Premier League season reaches its mid-way point with a mere three points separating leaders Lymington from second placed Bashley (Rydal).
Table topping Lymington defend their slender lead at Havant, while Bashley (Rydal) take on the Hampshire Academy at the Ageas Bowl’s Nursery Ground.
Lymington recovered from a top order collapse and chased down 263 to beat Burridge by four wickets last week.
But Ben Rogers and Ryan Scott (pictured) miss the trip to Havant, who are still trying to come to terms with last weekend’s on-field ‘disasters’ when they were comprehensively thrashed at both South Wilts and then by Surrey Championship side Normandy in the ECB Royal London club championships.
Havant tumbled to 94 all out at Bemerton and then saw their attack mauled for 347-6 at Normandy, who won the ECB group final by a colossal 155 runs.
The defending champions will, at least, have Hampshire’s Brad Taylor back, but Rob Gibson is missing.
Havant: Walker, Gorvin, Ransley, Bulled, Hindley, Taylor, Morgan, Matthews, Jerry, Prentice, Stone.
Lymington: Beetham, Lake, Dickinson, Hand, Lock, Ellis, Calcott, Metcalfe, Freeman, Woodward, Baxter.
