DOUBLE BOOST FOR ST CROSS ... HAVANT NEED TO GET A WIN

The return of Guernsey all-rounder Matt Stokes and Billy Mead’s availability for the remainder of the season gives St Cross Symondians a stronger look against relegation battlers Andover at the Green Jackets Ground.
But through the batting line-up looks stronger skipper Tom Foyle will least relish a repeat of last weekend’s fatal collapse at South Wilts where they lost their last six wickets for seven runs and presented an acceptable target.
Promoted Andover are 22 points adrift of the Hampshire Academy at the bottom of the pile, but face a pleasanter than usual selection dilemma.
Expectant father Storm Green, the Army left-hand opener, is absent on family matters, so Andover have to make a choice between Josh Ballantine-Dykes or Max Souter, who both hit 2nd XI centuries last weekend.
St Cross Symondians: Tom Foyle, Matt Stokes, Logan Van Beek, Harry Came, Asher Hart, Billy Mead, Harry Foyle, Robbie Hadfield, Jack Bransgrove, Charlie Ayres, Brad Aldridge.
Andover: M Hooper, Treagus, Arnold, Tognarelli, Karunatatne, Knight, Ballantine-Dykes/Souter, Blackburn, Watson, Adams, Foy.

Three defeats and a succession of draws in the Time pennant have left Havant some 44 points adrift of leaders Bashley (Rydal) and with a sizeable leeway to make up.
“So we need to start putting some wins on the board,” emphasises vice-captain Andy Gorvin.
Losing to Alton on the opening day of the season – Scott Myers hit a last ball four – got Havant’s title defence off on the wrong foot … and they’ve not really recovered.
They were engaged in a third draw with Lymington last week, but name an unchanged side for the visit to the Brewers, who call up youngsters Abhay Gonella and Matt Pein.
Hugo Hammond is away with the England Disability side in Durham, while Michael Heffernan drops down to the struggling seconds at Havant.
Alton: S Myers, Janmohamed, Gonella, Harris, Mark Heffernan, Postles, J Myers, Jamison, Pein, Mortimer, Ballinger.
Havant: Walker, Gorvin, Ransley, Bulled, Hindley, Taylor, Morgan, Matthews, Jerry, Prentice, Stone.
