Hampshire Seniors pair Keith Harsham and Nick Gargaro have flown to Cape Town to represent England South in a Golden Oldies cricket tournament.
Basingstoke & North Hants all-rounder Harsham will skipper the South side, while New Milton left-armer Gargaro is set to play for the first time since under-going extensive knee surgery last year.
The duo will play in 40-over matches against Over-50s sides from Cape Town and the Western Province, with several games at Newlands.
Garago can't wait to start playing again. "He said: My knee is really good. It’s been eight tough months since the replacement operation, with many hours of physio and in the gym but I have been bowling on it since Christmas. This trip has been my incentive to get fit in time to play in the tournament."
