Teenage Hampshire Academy and Havant all-rounder Josh McCoy is set to make his full England Under-19 debut in today's (Wednesday) second youth 'Test' match against Sri Lanka at Northampton.
Purbrook-raised, McCoy will be looking to guide England into a series lead after the rain interrupted first 'Test' at Fenners ended in a draw.
McCoy, who recently completed a two-year course at Millfield, is the latest in an impressive line of Hampshire trained teenagers who have represented England at Under-19 level and played in the locally based ECB Southern Premier League.
Brad Taylor captained England In this year's Under-19 ICC World Cup, with Mason Crane alongside. Tom Alsop, Tom Barber and Lewis McManus have all played for England in recent seasons.
