Former Hampshire cricketer Joe Gatting hit six sixes off the final over of the Swardeston innings and finished with 160 not out off just 95 balls in an ECB Royal London national club championship second round tie against Ramsey.
Swardeston, who frequently do well in ECB competitions, finished on 346-8 and bowled Ramsey out for 126. Gatting, who also played Premier League cricket for Burridge last summer, was released from the Ageas Bowl staff at the end of last season and has since moved to Norwich to work at a school.
