The British Gas Southern League has reported that two Hook & Newnham Basics cricketers another player from Bournemouth were suspended following a Division 1 match between the clubs at Chapel Gate last month.
Experienced Hook left-arm spinner Kevin Poulter and Richard Willcocks each picked up a one-match ban for dissent, while Bournemouth left-arm Simon Woodruff was banned for two games (one suspended) for swearing at an opponent in the same match. Former Fair Oak captain collected a one-match ban for dissent. It is believed the various suspensions have been served.
