Stephen Chalke and Fred Rumsey will be the Dorset Cricket Society's guest speakers at Hurn Bridge/Christchurch FC on Thursday afternoon (1.45pm) as they discuss Fred’s book “Sense of Humour, Sense of Justice”.
A left-arm fast bowler, Fred played county cricket for Worcestershire, Somerset and Derbyshire, and also for England including an Ashes Test. Following his retirement he was employed by Somerset for PR and fundraising purposes. He also was the founder of the Professional Cricketers’ Association. This should be a cracking afternoon. Why not come along ?
