Jeremy Frith and Dave Banks hit centuries, adding 174 for the fourth wicket, as Sparsholt smashed their way to 324-8 before completing a revenge 54-run victory over Trojans at Locks lane.
The win strengthened Sparsholt’s hold on Southern Premier League Division 2 top place – a position that will come under scrutiny when they go to second-in-the-table Rowledge on Saturday.
The pair came together with Sparsholt already well set at 113-3 and Frith already speeding towards his second league century of the summer.
The Sparsholt captain went on to strike two sixes and 16 fours in his 127, whole Banks launched three maximums and also 16 boundaries in his 110, scored off 77 balls.
Jamie Donaldson (4-61) continued to plug away for Trojans, who emerged with credit for their post tea effort with the bat.
Rhaul Bhome hit a classy 99 before being caught and bowled one short of a deserved hundred by Banks, while James Truscott made 50 and Dan Babidge 35.
Banks, with a late spell of 3-19, and spin pair Liam Doran (3-72) and Frith (3-42) did the damage for Sparsholt.

Knocked out of the Village Cup on Sunday by Sussex League side Mayfield, Rowledge trimmed struggling Paultons by six wickets.
Nigel Feltham (33) got Paultons off to a flier, but only Tony Richman (36) and Jack Murrell (36) got double figures after that as the visitors caved in to teenager Ollie Baker (4-40) and the seasoned David Lloyd (3-34).
Jake Wish (44), Steve Plater (32) and Sydney teen Fraser Wilson (25) guided Rowledge home.
Talented teen Ethan Taylor took 5-30 with his left-arm spin, but was unable to spare battling Totton & Eling from a three-wicket defeat at promotion chasing Premier 2 outfit Waterlooville.
The Itchen College youngster did his bit as Totton tried hard to defend 157 (Gary Chirmuuta 49), taking seven Ville wickets before their hosts got across the line.
Taylor earlier hit 28 with the bat.
Tichborne Park twice saw the opportunity of beating St Cross Symondians II – and at the same time relieving their SPL2 relegation worries – prised away from them and ended the day 36-run losers.
In the afternoon session, they had St Cross struggling at 124-8 when Dave Orchard (38) and Ed Hands (23) added precious late runs to lift their score to 179 (Will Allam 3-26).
Then, after Martin Cheyney had cracked 68 and enjoyed a healthy stand with Ben Allen (35), Tichborne had victory in sight at 118-2.
But a spin triggered collapse saw TP’s last eight wickets fall for 25 runs and the side bowled out for 143, Orchard and Matt Perry-Lewis taking three wickets each.
