GANGULY CENTURY AS LIPHOOK STORM NORMANDY BEACHES

Suman Ganguly cracked a century as Liphook & Ripsley won by 33 runs at Normandy.
He hit two sixes and 15 fours, underpinning Liphook’s 267-9, a target Normandy were unable to match
Liphook & Ripsley 267-9 (Ganguly 115, Covey 44, Heane 3-41)
Normandy 234-9 (Gampathy 56, Batchelor 43)
Liphook & Ripsley won by 33 runs.

Teenage left-hander Tom South hit an important middle-order 69 as the Hampshire Academy pulled themselves out of a spot of bother to post 224 and later restrict Ventnor to 204-7.
Jamie Miller marked his Ventnor return with 75 after Jake Goodwin had taken 4-32.
Hampshire Academy 224 (Duggan 73, South 69, Wells 3-26, Attrill 3-35)
Ventnor 204-7 (Miller 75, Corbin 37, Calloway 27, Goodwin 4-32)
Hampshire Academy won by 20 runs.

Pace bowler Asher Hart, whom Hampshire signed from Durham in the close season, showed his batting credentials with an unbeaten fifty which eased St Cross Symondians to a four-wicket win over visiting Alton, who made 165.

St Cross Symondians won by four wickets.

Andy Gorvin stepped in with an unbeaten 78 as a Havant XI rallied to make 245-8 and later peg Portsmouth to 155-9.

Portsmouth 155-9 (Hay 36, Goddard 31)
Havant won by 90 runs.

Basingstoke & North Hants were dismissed for a disappointing 134 (Chris Jolley 34) and heavily beaten by eight wickets by Sunbury at May’s Bounty.
Will Bond struck an unbeaten 102 and shared a 150-run stand with in-form Spencer le Clerq (84) as Hambledon posted 232-2 against Locks Heath at Ridge Meadow.
James Hughes hit a valiant 83 as Locks Heath made 215 in reply, Owain Chapman taking 4-22.
Teenage spinner Oli Shrubsole took 5-37 as New Milton bowled Paultons out for 163 (Camerson Grierson 36) before George Watts lifted them out of middle-order mire and set up a three-wicket win.  Watts hit 43 not out and Ashley Collison 34.
