The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect on 25th May and represents the biggest shake up in European privacy laws for 20 years.
GDPR introduces a number of changes and increases the sanctions and fines that can be imposed for improper processing of personal data. GDPR applies to any organisation of any size that controls or processes personal data.
To support clubs, leagues and associations understand the changes and implications, Hampshire Cricket Board is hosting a GDPR workshop, facilitated by Magnezium, GDPR consultants.
