Numerous fast bowling partnerships have spread fear in batsmen’s hearts over the years.
Trueman and Statham, Lille and Thomson, and Ambrose and Walsh are just three pairs that readily come to mind. There are many more.
Now stand by for the latest pairing about to be unleashed by Gosport Borough on  relegation threatened Fair Oak in the British Gas Southern League Division 3 at Lapstone Park this Saturday – Creal and Harris, combined age just 30 years !
At 14, Oli Creal will be making his SPL debut and doubtless to looking for advice and guidance from his far senior new ball partner, 16-year old Jacob Harris, who recently sat his GCSE exams at Gosport’s Bay House School.
Harris, left, who caught the eye in the NatWest Under-16 Indoor League last winter, knows a thing or two about taking wickets.  He’s already got 19 and is the fifth highest wicket taker in Premier Division 3.
Creal and Harris will undoubtedly be the youngest new ball partnership ever in Premier League cricket - that's if it doesn't rain again !
