Former Essex and England captain Graham Gooch sings for his supper at tonight's ECB Southern Premier League awards dinner at the Southampton Novotel.
He will hand over a fourth successive Premier Division title (and t20 Cup) to South Wilts, whose second team also won the Division 3 championship. Almost 40 South Wilts players and officials will be at the dinner.
New Milton and Portsmouth will collect the Division 1 and 2 championship awards, respectively.
Leading from the front, South Wilts captain Tom Morton will receive the Premier Division batting and wicket-keeping awards for a second consecutive season, with Alton's Julian Ballinger winning the Barry Boorah Bowl on account of taking the most wickets.
Division 1 awards go to: Dave Taylor (Andover), Specner Champ (Hook & Newnham Basics) and Ben Wish (Rowledge), with Portsmouth's Jack Marston lifting the SPL2 batting prize and OTs & Romsey pair Jody Brown and Keith Trodd top bowler and wicket-keeper, respectively.
Lymington II captain Oli Kelly was leading SPL3 batsman, with South Wilts pair Paul Draper (bowling )and Sam Pittman (wicketkeeper) fellow award winners.
Hampshire Academy left-hander Ben Duggan has been named Young Cricketer of the Year, with Havant winning the Fair Play Award. Ground awards go to Hursley Park and Calmore Sports.
