South Wilts are eager to recruit someone to help with the preparation of cricket pitches on the club's two squares at Bemerton this coming season.
The job would entail part-time work for 30 hours per week during the cricket season, essentially cutting and motor rolling strips ahead of weekend games.
"It's an ideal job for a sports minded person with some experince of groundsmanship. Bemerton is a smashing working venue, with top on and off field facilities," said South Wilts president Trevor Hayward.
"Sun on your back, plenty of fresh air - and getting paid for it !
"No worries about sitting on a mower on the outfield. We can handle all that," he added.
South Wilts, who field two sides in the ECB Southern Premier League and two more at Hampshire League level, are due to start pre-season friendly matches in mid-April.
Further information can be obtained from South Wilts secretary Sean Burke (Mob 07837 771943) or burkes131@gmail.com
