Hook & Newnham Basics successfully defended 117-8 (Ben Thane 45) to knock holders Yateley out of the Guy Jewell Cup. Spencer Champ (4-20) and Thane (3-20) did the damage as Yateley replied with 94-8. The second semi-final (August 17) features Eversley and Rotherfield Park. The final is at May's Bounty on Sunday August 30.
