Hampshire Seniors are concerned that the recent wet weather could scupper their prospects of progress in the ECB 50-plus County Championships.
They have won both their completed matches to date, but on three occasions games have been washed out, including this week's visit by Cornwall to New Milton, abandoned shortly after tea. Bashley (Rydal) all-rounder Neil Taylor took 4-11 as Cornwall were dismissed for 124. Hampshire lost Ian Stuart before the rain came.
Hampshire's next match is against unbeaten group leaders Somerset at Midsomer Norton on Wednesday.
