The Hampshire Cricket Society has cancelled today's (Wednesday) monthly meeting as the scheduled speaker, James Taylor, the retired England, and Nottinghamshire batsman, now Leicestershire coach, is unwell following a brush with Covid.
The February meeting - on Valentine's Day - features BBC Test Match Special commentator Simon Mann, who will speak at Romsey Golf Club on Wednesday 14.
Bill Athey, the former England, Yorkshire, Sussex and Somerset cricketer, will address the Dorset Cricket Society at Hurn Bridge, Christchurch, on Thursday week, 18 January 2024.
The two Societies are keen to welcome new members, so why not pop along ? They are hugely enjoyable social occasions.
