National champions Sarisbury Athletic will play Havant and Hook & Newnham Basics at the Ageas Bowl Indoor School on Sunday afternoon 20 December 2015 to decide this year’s Hampshire Indoor Sixes Championships.
In last night’s qualifying ties, an unbeaten half-century by Ricky Rawlins eased ECB winners Sarisbury Athletic to 138-4 (Sam Floyd 29, James Ingham 24) before Peartree were bowled out for 104 (Nick Wheeler 38).
Matt Love hit a key 34 not out before Hook & Newnham Basics eventually overcame Hursley Park’s 71 all out to win by two wickets. Matt Oliver (32) and Steve Rennison (21) top scored for Hursley Park.
Havant were awarded a walkover when Crowthorne were unable to make the difficult midweek trip down from the Berkshire county border.
The county finals on 20 December will be a round-robin affair, with the three sides all playing one another during the course of the afternoon. Further details later.
