Hampshire's vintage over-70s cricketers were the toast at the Seniors' annual presentation dinner at the Hampworth Golf Club. They won the National Over-70s championship for the first time, with skipper Jan Bridle handing out the accolades and the individual trophies.
Both the 50s and 60s A teams qualified for the knockout stages of their respective national competitions, while the B side reached the 50s final, only to lose to Oxfordshire, despite half-centuries by Steve Tongs and Phil Colmer.
Among the prize winners a the awards dinner were (from left): Dick Batchelor (Clubman of the Year), Peter Green (B team batting), Terry Morton, Mike Swain and Andre Manders (B team bowling).
