Hampshire Seniors' duo Mike Swain and Ian Watson, along with Chichester Priory Park's Andy Barnes, have been selected to play for England Over-70s against their Australian counterparts in a five-match Golden Oldies 'Ashes' Series in March.
The trio will play matches in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne and Brisbane, with England looking to retain the trophy they won on home soil in 2016, when Swain was particularly prominent with the bat.
Swain and Watson were prolific run scorers in their days with Gosport Borough and Deanery in the old Southern League, while Barnes is a potentially big hitting top order batsman.
