HARTLEY WINTNEY READY TO PLUME UNDER DANNY

Danny Plume, pictured, will captain Hartley Wintney in Southern Premier League Division 2 this summer, boosted by news of the club securing a generous two-year sponsorship package with Henry & James, the well known estate agents, who have offices in Belgravia and Chelsea.
The sponsorship has been directed to assist HW’s active junior section, improvements to the ground and pavilion, and to provide shirts to all the club’s players.
An internal review following last season’s relegation from SPL1 has led to several front line changes at Hartley Wintney, with Plume's captaincy coinciding with the appointment of Jonty Rowe as Director of Cricket and Rob Cooke (ECB Level 3) as Club Coach.
Plume’s debut as captain comes at newly promoted South Wilts II on May 7. Danny’s been at Hartley Wintney “since I was old enough to hold a bat” and, potentially, will have several new faces in the line up, including Patrick Joseph (Basingstoke & North Hants), Tom Milward and Dan Reynaldo, along with the return of James Beckwith.  Chris Jolley has made the switch to May’s Bounty and Dan Wrenn returned to Liphook & Ripsley.
Hartley Wintney will shortly be announcing news of their Australian overseas player for the upcoming season.  Watch this space !
