Former Winchester College skipper Oli Mills will be a key player as Havant bid to reach the semi-finals of the ECB Royal London national club championship on Sunday, 1pm.
But Mills will be in the opposition changing room at Havant Park as Surrey Championship giants Weybridge come visiting for a place in the last four.
Mills, who cut his teeth locally playing for Hambledon, switched to Weybridge last season after a spell with Ventnor.
He will bat at four for Weybridge and will be a seam bowling option for the stockbroker Surrey club, who have emerged from a lean start to the summer to win their last four Championship matches and climb to third place in the table.
They were beaten finalists against Sunbury in last weekend’s Surrey T20 Club final.
Havant, who have reached the semi-final once before, are at full strength and will draw confidence from an outstanding win over West of England Premier League champions Frocester last time out.
Their plan will be at bat first, post a big score and let their spinners get to work.
Weybridge, whose ranks include MCC YC’s left-hand opener Ben Curran and former England U19 captain Jack Winslade, are also expected to reply heavily on their spin attack.
Havant: Walker, Hopson, Gibson, Ransley, Gorvin, Stone, Hindley, Bulled, Morgan, Prentice, Matthews.
Weybridge: Winslade, Curran, Cripps, Slipper, Mills, McKinlay, Mann, Arnot, Kerry, Turner, Vaiaker.
