Havant's plans for a serious warm-up against Burridge ahead of next Sunday's ECB T20 Cup regional finals at Hove were cancelled when heavy rain led to today's SPL quarter-final tie being washed out.
As last year's winners (and 2020 and 2021), Havant are the Southern Premier League's representatives in the ECB competition and have been paired against Kent T20 winners Hayes in the second semi-final. That comes after Middleton have played Wimbledon at 1100.
Waterlooville, who shot South Wilts out for 44 before winning their second round tie by ten wickets, were also foiled by the weather.
They will now play Rowledge at Rowlands Avenue next Sunday, starting at 2 o'clock.
The same fate befell Totton & Eling, who were due to host OTs & Romsey, and Alton, who were paired against Portsmouth. Rain washed out both ties, now rearranged for next Sunday.
