Job Vacancy: Schools Cricket Activator

Do you want to inspire children and teachers to get involved with cricket?
Do you love sport?
Do you want to be part of an exciting national cricket programme?

2 x Positions - 1x 20 hours per week and 1 x 28 hours per week
Salary: £18,000 per annum (pro rata) + expenses
Contract: Fixed Term, March – July 2019
Location: Southampton and Portsmouth (and surrounding areas)

In 2017, the ECB launched All Stars Cricket, a brand-new programme aimed at providing 5-8 year olds with a great first experience of the game.  The first 2 years have been hugely successful, with over 2,200 children taking part in the programme across 60 centres in Hampshire in 2018.  This success has been largely due to engaging more children and teachers in our expanding Chance to Shine programme in primary schools.

We're looking to recruit 2 enthusiastic individuals with a passion for children’s sport and cricket to work as part of Hampshire Cricket Board’s coaching team. The roles are central to the success of both programmes, with the responsibility of engaging young people, parents and teachers in and around Southampton and Portsmouth.

For further information download the job description.  To apply please complete an application form and send to James Hibberd, Schools Engagement Manager by 5.00pm on Friday 15th March 2019.

If you would like to discuss the position contact James Hibberd – 07768 552627.
Closing date: 15th March 2019
Interview date: week commencing 18th March 2019
Practical coaching assessment: week commencing 25th March 2019
