Sarisbury Athletic brothers Josh Hill (left) and sibling Sam (right) have been named in the 2019 Village Cup Team of the Year following a public vote by The Cricketer magazine, organisers of the competition.
The pair helped Sarisbury reach the semi-finals, where they were beaten by Hertfordshire club Reed, who went on to lift the trophy for a third time in ten years at Lord's in September.
Josh Hill smashed an unbeaten 203 in the second round defeat of Bramshaw and later score a crucial 101 as Sarisbury Athletic knocked out WEPL side North Perrott in the quarter finals.
He made a total of 453 runs in the Village Cup, while left-arm spinner Sam took 16 wickets, including a 5-10 return against 2018 Lord's finalists Liphook & Ripsley in the Hampshire county final.
