HOME CUP DRAWS FOR PREMIER TRIO - BUT THEY'RE TOUGH

27/6/2018

The three Southern Premier League clubs left in national cup competitions have all been drawn at home in the upcoming ‘round of 16’ matches – but they all look mighty tough assignments.
Premier Division champions Havant knocked Surrey Championship winners Normandy out in the ECB Royal London Cup group final last weekend, courtesy of an unbeaten Stuart Ransley century.
Their reward is a home tie with current West of England Premier League leaders Clevedon at Havant Park on July 22.
Liphook & Ripsley and Rowledge hit the Lord’s trail in the national Village Cup again on Sunday week, July 8.
Liphook host unbeaten Oxford Downs, who are top of the Cherwell League, while Rowledge receive Mayfield, who lie third in Sussex League Division 2.
