Hook & Newnham Basics’ two-year hold on the Guy Jewell Cup ended with an emphatic 77-run defeat by Basingstoke & North Hants in the second T20 semi-final at May’s Bounty.
Basingstoke will now contest the August Bank Holiday Sunday (August 25) with Hartley Wintney, who trimmed Odiham & Greywell by 31 runs in the other semi.
