Teenage Hursley Park cricketer Luke Deacon hit a career best 140 for Dorset against Wiltshire in a rain abandoned ECB Under-17 County Championship match at Trowbridge.
Deacon, who still plays his junior cricket for Compton & Chandler’s Ford, hit 16 boundaries in his knock and shared a hefty 181-run partnership with Anthony Graham (68) before Dorset reached 308-5. Wiltshire made 46-2 before play was called off.
