HYTHE AND DIBDEN
Back (from left): Noah Vaughan, Wayne Royan, Zac Millar, Tim Ndowora, Dan Taylor, Ben Holbrook. Seated: Tom Jones, Tom Gates, Tom Richards, Matt Young, Jonjo Stovell.
Hampshire League champions in 2018 and a commendable fourth in Division 3 the following season, Hythe & Dibden face a battle to cling onto their hard earned Southern Premier League status in the coming four weeks, with the Watersiders fighting for every point alongside Purbrook, who won two of their last three games after six defeats on the spin.
Hythe go into Saturday's visit to Langley Manor a solitary point ahead of Purbrook, who host promotion outsiders Portsmouth & Southsea at The Heath.
After that, Hythe host clear leaders Hambledon and, significantly perhaps, Tichborne Park (August 28), either side of a visit to Trojans. Purbrook's other three games are against Trojans (home), Hook & Newnham Basics II (away) and Gosport Borough (home), the latter two fighting for the probable second promotion spot.
