Jack Davies scored his second unbeaten century in four Southern Premier League knocks when he swept Portsmouth & Southsea to a nine-wicket win over Havant IIs, who dropped to second from bottom of Division 3 in the process.
Davies, whose 137 not out at Lymington in late May was a personal best, struck 12 fours and enjoyed an unbroken 170-run partnership with teenager Oli Kanavan (54) as P & S cruised past Havant’s 184-6 with ten overs to spare. Andrew Ruston (52) and Simon Loat (40) were the mainstays for Havant.
