Already fed up with sitting at home in front of the fire as the mercury level falls, why not pop out and get some fresh air on Thursday afternoon ?
Retired Hampshire left-arm fast-medium pace swing bowler James Tomlinson, now the county's Head of Pathway Development, is the guest speaker at the Dorset Cricket Society at Christchurch FC's Hurn Bridge clubhouse, starring at 1.45pm.
In keeping with his outgoing personality, James is an entertaining speaker, who will talk about his 15-year career with Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl, and specifically his introduction to the first class game against India in 2002. He took 380 wickets in his injury ravaged career, including 67 in 2008. Always a popular and intelligent player, he naturally moved into coaching upon retirement and is already massively involved in bringing on an abundance of talent through the Hampshire cricket pathway.
DCS meetings are open to all cricket enthusiasts, so why not pop along on Thursday afternoon ?
