Former Hampshire batsman Jason Laney (right) marked his Seniors debut with a hundred and shared a double-century opening partnership with Andy Giles (left) as the 50s A side chased down Buckinghamshire's 246-8 to win their Second XI County Championship Plate quarter-final at Sparsholt by six wickets.
Laney, who has only recently become eligible for fifties cricket, made 101 with Giles, now with Ramsdell, carrying his bat for 89. The pair put on 201 for the first wicket after Bashley's Neil Taylor took 3-43.
