JOE Oates hit an unbeaten 81 as Basingstoke and North Hants booked their place in the last four of the Don Lynch Aylward Cup with a 10 wicket success over Finchampstead.
The Bountymen bowled Finch out for 111 and then thanks to Oates and Craig Williamson they cruised into the semi-finals. Cove also made the final four, as they beat Hartley Wintney by 53 runs, as their 163-6 proved too much for the SPL2 side who reached 110-9. The other two quarter-finals will see Dogmersfield take on Aldershot, while Yateley battle it out with Fleet.
