Hampshire 227-7 lost to Barbados Pride 231-3 by seven wickets
Hampshire lost their opening game at the Super 50 in Barbados, despite a first senior limited-overs half-century for Joe Weatherley.

Barbados Pride reached their target with 21 balls and seven wickets to spare on a slow wicket at the Three Ws Oval, writes the Daily Echo's Simon Walter.
Hampshire lost three early wickets before a fourth-wicket stand of 112 between Sean Ervine and Weatherley ensured they had a total to bowl at.
Calvin Dickinson (9) was caught behind in the fourth over and Tom Alsop (12) and captain Jimmy Adams (3) were dismissed in quick succession as Hampshire limped to 29-3 after 14.
But Ervine and Weatherley excelled against an attack including West Indies stars Kemar Roach and Roston Chase.
Ervine was caught and bowled for a 67-ball 63 after a leading edge against off-spinner Chase.
Weatherley reached a 76-ball fifty in the following over only to be dismissed by former Windies slow left-armer Sulieman Benn two deliveries later, leaving Hampshire 147-6 after 37.
Both batsmen hit two sixes and Lewis McManus followed their lead during the last ten overs, hitting three maximums in his 41-ball 47.
McManus put on 48 in nine overs with Brad Taylor, who impressed with a fluent 20.
Barbados were 61-3 in the 16th over of their reply.
Brad Wheal had opener Kevin Stoute (2) caught behind with his second ball and Fidel Edwards bowled Kraigg Brathwaite (12)in the tenth over before Chris Wood claimed the scalp of Shai Hope, who was caught by Gareth Berg for 34 (44 balls).
But Jonathan Carter (92no) and Chase (85no) shared an unbroken fourth-wicket stand of 168 in 31.1 overs to ensure a comfortable victory for the home side.
Hampshire play Trinidad and Tobago on Saturday.
Hampshire bowling: Edwards 8.5-0-39-1,Wheal 6-0-29-1, Berg 6-0-28-0, Taylor 10-0-47-0, Wood 8.2-0-50-1, Weatherley 7-1-36
